Each lesson is short and focused.
Designed to take only 10–15 minutes a day.
Lessons introduce one concept at a time, then reinforce it through fun hands-on activities and fully decodable readers.
Each activity page and reader allows your child to apply what they’ve just learned, while also reviewing previously taught material. The readers include inbuilt comprehension questions to support understanding.
Stage 1 lays the foundation by introducing short vowel 3-letter words (e.g. cat), blends (e.g. fast and snap), digraphs (ay like in say, ee like in see), and early sentence reading. By the end of Stage 1, your child will be able to read 3- and 4-letter words within simple sentences, and read up to 12 decodable sentences on a page.
